As the founder of the MJW Corporation, Dr. Dooley has served the company primarily as a Senior Consulting Health Physicist, managing hundreds of radiological projects since incorporation in 1984. From a humble beginning in a basement office, Dr. Dooley has grown MJW into a premier supplier of expert radiological services serving national and international clients alike. Dr. Dooley continues to seek opportunities with new and innovative projects which will continue to challenge MJW’s exceptional staff. Dr. Dooley oversees all radiological work for the company as well as the day to day aspects of running a growing small business.
Current Responsibilities
Dr. Dooley currently serves as a Senior Project Advisor to the NIOSH Dose Reconstruction Program. His main responsibility is to administratively oversee MJW’s role in the conduct of internal dose reconstructions in support of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act requirements as directed by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). As project senior advisor, Dr. Dooley brings previous experience for performing similar type work for the Mound facility from 1996-2001 to the project team as well as twenty years of managerial experience.

Moira S. Dooley joined MJW Technical Services, Inc. as its first president in March of 2005. She served as company President until mid-2008 when she became Chairman of the Board of Directors. During Mrs. Dooley’s tenure, MJW Technical Services, Inc. (MJWTS) has grown from a company initially established to provide calibration services for radiation detection devices to now include professional and technical consulting and field services for the nuclear industry. Since the company was founded, MJWTS has grown from its original staff of 8 employees to its current staff of approximately 52 professionals and technicians. Revenues over this period have grown from nearly $500,000 in 2006 to more than $12M in 2015.
Prior to joining MJW Technical Services, Inc. Mrs. Dooley had a successful 22 year career in the insurance industry. During this time she developed her business and leadership skills in the Buffalo, NY office of Mass Mutual Financial Group (one of their most successful and productive offices in the country).
Current Responsibilities
As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Dooley brings her extensive knowledge of the business world and sales in a highly competitive environment to MJWTS and the MJW Companies in general. Her responsibilities include providing advice and support to the Board for strategic and operational planning and monitoring performance for MJWTS business lines. Mrs. Dooley is the majority shareholder of MJWTS.
